Ah, an old classic. Yet I must say, it’s lost a quite a bit of its edge over the years. There is FAR more fun in coming up with your own shenanigans (There, finally a reason to use the word). Not to say that it isn’t funny of course ;)
A sampling:

Bring a portable CD player to a concert and listen the CD because you insist that it is “Just better quality”

Ask people to prove everything they say. (e.g. “I’m Bob, nice to meet you…” “PROVE IT!”)

Call other people “Champ” or “Tiger.”. Refer to yourself as “Coach.”

Do not add any inflection to the end of your sentences, producing awkward silences with the impression that you’ll be saying more any moment.

Give little kids clothes for their birthdays

Make scary faces at babies.

Every time someone asks you to do something or says something to you ask “Is that a threat?”

Decline to be seated at a restaurant and simply eat their complimentary mints at the cash register.

Dedicate your life to politics, become president of the United States, then raise all taxes to 90%.

*Genius.*

Any time a member of the opposite sex tries to talk to you, hold your hand up to prevent them from saying anything and say, “Look, I know what you’re going to ask me… For the last time, no, I will NOT go out with you.”(Note: While I PERSONALLY would never do that, I’ve seen others do it. Much to female chagrin.)

Just so you know:
  • You have to arrive half an hour before the tournament starts
  • If you are under 18 years (but at least 13) you need a parent with you to fill out forms and such
  • You CANNOT Use Your Own Controllers. (But Gamestop isn’t exactly renowned for its adherence to rules of the sort. Who knows, you might as well bring your Gamecube controller anyway)
  • 1 minute matches. (UGH) Until 1 player wins
  • Elimination Based
  • Last man standing is the winner, will move onto Districts
  • It seems (I’d say 95%) that you do not need to pre-order to participate at a certain Gamespot
  • Tournament Mode will be used

So…who do you support in this year’s election? Hilary? Obama? McCain? No one? Ralph Nader? (Rumoured comeback…)
As per usual, this years crop of candidates is horrid, with sell outs, rich white folks, and two faced liars lining up the ballot. With many of the sorrier losers out, three major candidates remain, with democrats Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton, and republican John McCain. I do not honestly agree with all that Obama believes, but I do think that he is the best potential president (Foreign Policy, War in Iraq, etc.) Yet Obama’s campaign raises some interesting questions that are seldom asked, especially in the realm of the shallow political spectrum.
Imam Zaid Shakir has written what is in my opinion some of the best analysis of Obama’s role in the Presidential race.

In a recent debate, one of Hilary’s criticisms against Barack was his lack of decisive action. This raises a question that few, especially many of Obama’s ignorant and endlessly annyoing supporters, have asked. And I say endlessly annoying seeing as many of them are zealous college kids, big mouth celebrities, and people jumping on his back for the simple reason that’s he’s black. He’s new, he’s unique, let’s go with him, since we do things differently for the sake of it. Granted, I’m generalizing. There are informed and intelligent voters out there who have a justified reasoning for their choice, whether it’s Obama or another candidate. Obama has the support of a massive hype train. He’s butchering Clinton (as of now) and McCain is seriously lacking support…from his own party.
But what exactly has Obama done? He has very little experience and has not voted on a number of crucial issues. Even more tellingly, he has spoken little about his partially Islamic background, other than explicitly letting the public know he’s not a Muslim. For a candidate in that situation, he cannot afford to make any controversial calls. With his intent to please nearly everyone in the country so focused and calculated, Obama has been devoid of true calls for change, outside of a constant stream of speeched which spit the same generic words again and again (Hope, change, etc). When you’re so caught up with winning people’s votes, you fail to realize that a true leader must often make decisions that are not popular. But for Obama, whose walked the political tightrope for too long, it may end up costing him his potential presidency.

This guy is one of my favorite comedians. Not only does he tell unique jokes in a monotone voice about small, but hysterical life details no one pays attention to… he also write, draws, and plays music; all of these very well, I may add.

For those who simply cannot wait another few hours, or think they might have a shot at prizes, head to Gamespot on March 8, for the first of a series of Brawl tournaments. The fight begins at the store level, to district matches, and regionals, which will finally culminate in an 8 player final where the winner will receive loads of prizes. There’s stuff to be had at every level, so if you’re any good (*cough, Sal*) or THINK you are, there’s no harm in giving it a shot ;D

Although the Fire Emblem series may have been put off for a while since the last game “Path Of Radiance” for gamecube released in 05′, the latest one developed by Intelligent Systems and published through Nintendo named “Radiant Dawn”. New features include being able to transfer high status characters from Game Cube series over to the new Wii series in order to guide your partners in battle! Aside from that, now having over 5 weaponry classes including swords, axes, lances, knives(includes thiefs), and new magic including light, dark, and anima; along withe the original three, fire, wind, and lighting.

Including over 100 characters, being either humans, magicians, beasts, hawks, or dragons, one will be able to beat Radiant Dawn numerous amounts of times and always be up to the challenge!

If we hadn’t taken the majority of the day to redecorate the entire room, I could have finished this much earlier. Not that i’m not pleased with my new bed and book case, but still. I practiced using layers and coloring on a few OP manga pages, and then I tried it with this. The heat in this room is ridiculous compared to the other parts of the house. And I have no fricking idea why. Sweating bullets.. Anyway, I think this one came out okay.

Lol. The Supernatural reference here is so blinding. More pokes and prods at Alana’s “obsessions” but.. I switched back to pencil shading because not only am I MUCH more adept at it, it’s also a lot less time consuming, and easier to do considering my schedule. D:
