Summit Elementary School
The school shut down because of asbestos. It was a long time ago, though. Supposedly, the janitor in the boiler room murdered four boys attending the school. It’s easy to find the boiler room; there’s a big smoke stack nearby. Supposedly, if you go there at night, you can hear voices, the swings will be swinging by themselves, and weird things might happen to your car like the doors locking and unlocking, windows rolling up or down, radio turning on, etc.

I don’t know if I believe in ghosts, but I visited the creepiest place in Amarillo last night. My friend, Neva, dragged me along without telling me about what you see above. It was around 11, and Neva said that we were visiting one of her favorite places. It was a school with graffiti all over the walls and like a broken window.
I got the feeling I shouldn’t be there because the air was really cold like colder than before around the car. We left thank gosh, but it was a freaky place. Have you ever been somewhere like that?

uh huh…Well ok I can’t argue that bathrooms are scary. Ours were more irritatingly poorly constructed then scary of course though. How hard is it to align the door with the lock? I mean it’s an important thing to get right I think….

yea well i’ve always heard about summit and so my friends and i went there on april 20th and we walked around and then we got up on the roof and nothin happened to us.peace

I’ve never been to Summit Elementary School, but I want to go.
People I know have went and they say wierd things happen,
but I can’t really say that I believe them. I think its just one
of those things you have to experience for yourself. If you
actually believe in ghosts and things like that, you’ll probably
experience things others won’t, simply because you will end
up freaking yourself out. Due to the fact, that you’re expecting
something “scary” to happen. It can’t really be that bad, can it?

3/14/09we were just there.we know older people that had friends there they said it was80% black childern aqnd the older childern cused so much trouble,that the principal couldnt get from his car in the morning to his office safetly….so they had to close it down and force diviserity to all school districs to end the problems…

Hi, im winter and I go to rusk elementry are school ihaunted cause outside where the bathrooms are a girl died in there.Cause I saw scratches on one mirror,and her lips on the mirror.Isnt that scary?

ive been to summit and parked out side and rolled down all the windows and actually heard the swings it was soooo scary!!!!
